Last month, American writer Stephen King published a new story called "Riding The Bullet". It is about a young man who has to find a way home from college to see his sick mother. Some very scary things happen to him along the way. Critics say it is a pretty good story. But that is not why "Riding The Bullet" has become so famous.
The most interesting thin about "Riding the Bullet" is that you can only read it on a computer. The story will never be published on paper like a traditional book. Interested readers could not print a copy of it. They had to read it on their computer screens, in electronic form. So publishers call such writing "e - books".
