Today was the first day of a new term ．The sum m er holidays were over，and we were all back to school．We were very happy to see each other again．We came into the classroom．It was so dirty in the classroom that we could hardly find a place to sit down．The desks and chairs were all covered with dust．So at first we cleaned our classroom ．Some went out to take water to clean the desks and chairs while others swept the floor．After we finished sweeping，we cleaned the windows．An hour later the classroom was clean again．

In the afternoon we came to the school to take our new books．We were very happy to take the new textbooks，because we could learn more from them in this new term．
