22. s.+ vt.+n./pro.+n./pro.
A.
常用的动词有:abbreviate(缩写),acknowledge( 承认), acclaim(以欢呼声拥戴),appoint(委派),believe(认为),brand(污辱), call(叫),choose(选择),confess(宣称),consecrate(使……就任),consider(认为),constitute(任命),create(封授),crown(加冕),deem(认为),denominate(命名),designate(把…… 入伍),entitle (冠以名字),establish(确立), esteem(认为),find(发现),imag-ine(想象),incorporate(吸收), interpret(理解为),judge(判断),keep(保持),label(把……列为),leave(使处于某种状态), make(使成为),name(命名),nickname(起绰号为),nominate(指定),proclaim(宣布),promote(提升),pronounce(将……发音为),rate(列为),stamp(打上标记),style(称呼,命名),take(当作),think(认为),title(给……加标题为),warrant(保证)等。例:

He considered work a poor way to spend one's time.
His very appearance at any time proclaims it a triumph.
Edison never considered himself a brilliant man.
The Chinese people have shown themselves exceptionally able people.
The women considered him a very learned man. (He was a very learned man. )
We'll keep it a secret. (It is a secret.)
TV often gives us new ideas. (*We are new ideas.)
We found him a good secretary.
(We found that he was a good secretary. )
(We found a good secretary for him.)
A teacher should consider it his primary task to ensure that the students are engaged all of the time in meaningful practical activities.
We all thought it a pity that he should have missed the train.
The fact that we have to book seats in advance and dress a little better than usual makes going to a party an occasion.
