四川汶川地震发生之后，受灾群众和救灾人员都显示出了共同的坚强、无私、善良与执著，感动着每一个中国人，感动了全世界。大型纪实系列剧《震撼世界的七日》将再现感人的故事，升华生命的尊严，歌颂人性的光辉。创作者运用纪实的手法，将真实故事与新闻报道相结合，通过演员再现那些真实的故事，颂扬人性的真善美。
据该剧总导演赵浚凯和张子扬介绍，全剧将采用纪实手法，将真实故事与新闻报道相结合，通过演员参演再现那些真实故事。在创作该剧时，共有16位编剧同时开工，5天赶制出20多集剧本。据悉，该剧将于6月5日在汶川开机，5组导演在5个地方同时进行拍摄，预计6月25日关机，拍摄时长仅有20天。如此短的制作周期，如此强大的制作阵容，在中国电视史上可以说是绝无仅有。
得知拍摄消息，众多影视明星踊跃报名，义务拍片。总导演赵浚凯表示，《震撼世界的七日》没有主角，哪怕是大明星在该剧中也只是配角。

Large-scale documentary series "shock the world on the 7th" will reproduce the touching story of sublimation of the dignity of life, extolling the glory of humanity. Documentary creators use of the way, the true story of combining with the news reports, through the actors reproduce those true story, praised Lee's human nature.
According to the opera general director Zhao Kai and Cheung Chun Yang,全剧documentary approach will be adopted, will be true stories and news reports the integration of the participating actors through the reproduction of those true stories. In creative drama, a total of 16 writers at the same time began a five day working on the script more than 20 sets. It is learnt that the opera will be June 5 in Wenchuan boot, five directors in five places at the same time shooting, is expected to shut down June 25, shooting only 20 days long.
