　周作人：中国介绍安徒生童话第一人
　　优秀的作家和作品是属于全人类的。安徒生生前没有能够来到中国，然而在他逝世后约半个世纪的1913年，他的童话帮他完成了遗愿。
　　20世纪初叶，一批留学海外的学者回国后，积极宣传西学，在“人的解放”“女性解放”的旗帜下发现了儿童，认识到儿童也是人格独立的个人，也有文学上的阅读需求，进而掀起了从晚清到五四时期持续20年之久的儿童文学译介活动，其中最引人注目的现象之一，就是对安徒生、格林童话的译介，并由此开始了中国儿童文学的现代化进程。新文化运动的主将、中国儿童文学的启蒙家周作人，同时也是中国介绍与研究安徒生童话的第一人。
