应试策略:
本部分共有5段小对话,每段对话设置一个问题,试题卷面上一般只提供A、B、C、D四个选项,而不提供所提问题,故听时不但要注意听清对话内容,还要听清问题。该部分对话均为小对话,一般只有1—2个轮回。
对话后的问题,一般涉及以下几个方面:
1.谈话的地点、时间、情景等。如题4,可根据waiter和The fish is very cold.得知,该对话发生在餐馆就餐时,地点是在餐馆。此类试题多可从词汇着手。
2.谈话的人物。我们可以就会话双方的身份、职业以及相互之间的关系设问。如题10和题8,题10可根据女声的Come in and make yourself feel at home.和男声的You really make you feel at home.判断为朋友关系,题8可根据判断男声说的得知答案。
3.谈话的内容。如题1和题9。题9可根据but I have to catch up with my homework得知答案。
4.人物的态度、观点。如题2和题5。题2可由No和I shall refuse to sit next to Betty得知答案。题5从“No,I didn't.I couldn't stand the noisy music.”可知答案。此类试题多要求考生要善于把握人物话语的“弦外之音”。
5.数量与计算。如题6,该题涉及到两个时间,一是“It's 3:40 in the afternoon.”,二是“They've only got 20 minutes before it's fin-ished.”,这样通过计算可知球赛结束的时间为4:00。
