Professor White was a famous scientist．He was always busy with his work and deep in thought，but he was careless about other things．
He was used to losing things and his wife had to buy him a new umbrella each time he had lost his old one．Believe it or not，Professor White had lost at least 20umbrellas，which made his wife very angry．So Professor White decided to be careful not to lose his umbrella again．
One day he came back from work．When he entered the room ，he said to his wife，showing an umbrella，“Look，here is my umbrella，I haven't lost it．”“Why，”cried his wife angrily，“you didn't take the umbrella with you this morning！”
